I had a great experience with Silent Wake. Daren's extensive experience kayaking was evident. He's an excellent teacher and guide and was responsive to all questions and concerns. Our time kayaking was fun and a good learning experience. I should add that he's very safely conscious and I felt very comfortable going out with him.

If you like to paddle, you need to take Silent Wakes Rescues class! I pulled together a group of paddling friends for this class with the goal of greater comfort on the Great Lakes. We did not really expect to use the skills so quickly? And - with so much ease and success! Paddling Lake Michigan a couple weeks later, one of our group flipped. This individual had not attended the class and could not get back in his boat. Those of us who attended were able to very quickly offer an assisted rescue, paddler was back in his boat feeling calm, safe and ready to go in no time! The course gave us confidence in heading out, and the required skills to manage the trip successfully!

My 9 year old grandson and I had never tried kayaking before. I found Silent Wake searching the web and I am so glad I did! Daren and Kristen were great instructors and guides. My daughter and I booked their 2 hour "sampler" trip for 4 people and we had a lovely time. I look forward to another outing with them very soon!

My friends and I did a stretch of the Milwaukee River with Silent Wake and we were so pleased! These people were professional, prompt, prepared for every aspect of the journey and they were fun to be with and easy to talk to. Their kayaks and equipment are top notch. At every step of the trip I felt like they had their eye on safety for all and also kept it fun. I would highly recommend Silent Wake whether you are a new kayaker or an experienced one.

I had a great experience with Silent Wake. I reached out to inquire about the Sea Kayaking course, and Darren was very responsive and informative. He also worked with me to schedule classes and make sure I had the gear I needed. Then the class itself was a blast--Darren really knows his stuff, and he's really personable and fun to learn from. I'd definitely recommend!
