Group Kayak Paddle trip down the MKE river

This will be a small public group paddle trip down the Milwaukee river – limited spaces/gear

You may either bring your own kayak/gear or borrow one of our kayaks for this trip.

Distance – 5.5 miles

Difficulty – Open to those who have paddled before, have boat control skills to maneuver kayak around obstacles in the river, and can respond to power boats on the water.

Paddle environment – Silent Wake will be on the water with you during this trip, showing you the best path down the river, and assisting as needed to make this an enjoyable trip. First half of the trip is mostly wooded, country settings. After the half way mark, more rural, with the occasional power boats, jet skis, and possibly water skis. This is a guided paddle trip, we will have a gentile paddle pace (not a float). There are limited areas to get out and stretch, if needed.

Shuttle – Divers of vehicles will be shuttled back to their cars (at the put in). Please car pool if possible. We can only shuttle a max of 4 drivers.

Time/Cost- This will be at least 4 hours on the water. Cost $70 per person.
