We did not really expect to use the skills so quickly? And - with so much ease and success! Paddling Lake Michigan a couple weeks later, one of our group flipped. This individual had not attended the class and could not get back in his boat. Those of us who attended were able to very quickly offer an assisted rescue, paddler was back in his boat feeling calm, safe and ready to go in no time! The course gave us confidence in heading out, and the required skills to manage the trip successfully!

Booked a kayak sampler trip with Daren for my extended family. Not only was Daren able to get all five of us in for a trip on the upper... read more Milwaukee River the same day but he provide a wonderful, and possibly the most professional, kayak experience I've ever had. I've kayaked a number of times before, including on Lake Michigan and for a camping trip, but I've never gotten the kind of attention and instruction that Daren provided. Our group ranged in age from 10 to 73 and in experience from novice to never having been in a kayak before. I think this would have been challenging for a number of the kayak companies I've rented from before but Daren did a wonderful job of providing help and instruction where needed but also giving us space to have our own adventure. I really can't say enough about how organized and knowledgeable Daren is. He was on time, had the right gear and had us on the water in no time. Also, his Covid-19 precautions were fantastic, it made us all feel very safe. More importantly he provided my family with a wonderful experience. I will definitely be booking with him again.
